Joysticks and joypads, plugs, keyboards and routers, a shoe lost among cables, a pair of feet emerging behind an open laptop, videocassettes, websites and girls watching intensely at a computer screen. Miltos Manetas hands a thought-provoking mirror to the gadgets blogs, tech magazines and even new media art exhibitions. posted by Markus

Floorplanner.com allows you to create floor plans and view them both in 2 and 3 dimensions.
Thanks to its very intuitive interface, it is possible to play around and customise sizes and shapes, add doors, windows and even pieces of furniture, achieving a very realistic idea of the real result.
Floorplan also allows you to save your projects and it’s free for personal use.

This week, I have been mostly loving the work of Chuck Anderson. Beautiful static imagery, combining photography and light effects.

Mixedlink is a new collaboration site which combines wiki features so users can write, edit and remix content. The link below shows draft speeches that the community has written for Obama’s inaugural address:

The platform makes editing and rating content easy-peasy.

Today we want to post some fashion related links. One of them is Swide, a new blog by Dolce and Gabbana (which we suppose they kind of want to hide from the audience). As the Design is from High-Res!, the agency which does the D&G online communication, and a lot of content is "accidentally" about D&G, you just have to put two and two together. At first, its layout makes it a bit unusable, but as you get used to it the content is quite amusing. We especially liked the wild fitness and the blueberry drinks sections.

We also want to draw your attention to MaoMag, a New York-based fashion magazine. You can browse their really special illustrations and photographs online, follow the link below.
